pub vertex_count: usize,
pub triangle_count: usize,
pub splits: usize,
pub collapses: usize,
pub flips: usize,
pub relaxations: usize,
pub closed_manifold: bool,
}Expand description
What a remeshing run did. All counts are cumulative across every pass.
Fields§
§vertex_count: usizeFinal vertex count written to out_vertices.
triangle_count: usizeFinal triangle count written to out_triangles.
splits: usizeEdges split (each split adds one vertex + triangles).
collapses: usizeEdges collapsed (each removes one vertex).
flips: usizeEdges flipped for valence equalisation.
relaxations: usizeVertices moved by tangential relaxation (summed over passes).
closed_manifold: booltrue if the final mesh is closed (0 boundary edges) and manifold — i.e.
the output half-edge graph built cleanly with no boundary. A mesh that was
open on input stays open; this flag then reports false (expected).
