pub enum Exact3Error {
NonFiniteCoordinate {
point: usize,
},
DegeneratePlane,
ParallelToPlane,
}Expand description
Errors from exact 3-D construction. All fail-closed.
Variants§
NonFiniteCoordinate
A supplied coordinate is not finite (NaN or ±∞). Exact construction is only defined over finite reals.
DegeneratePlane
The plane is degenerate: (b − a) and (c − a) are parallel (or a
point coincides), so a, b, c do not define a plane. The normal is the
zero vector.
ParallelToPlane
The segment is parallel to the plane (den = n · (p − q) = 0), so there
is no unique intersection point (the segment either misses the plane or
lies entirely within it).
