Variants§
LocalEngine
The native in-process engine. model_id = None means “use the
principal’s currently-active model”; Some pins a specific model.
RemoteMcp
An external provider reached over its MCP interface.
endpoint— human-readable label / base address of the provider.transport— how the MCP client actually connects (seeMcpTransport).infer_tool— the MCP tool name to call for inference;Nonelets the client pick its default.model— the remote model identifier to request;Noneuses the provider’s default.
